What Happens to Your Old Flooring During Removal?

Rolled old carpet and underlayment stacked on exposed subfloor during a Maui flooring tear-out

Tear-out is one of those steps homeowners rarely think about until they're mid-project — but it's a real part of the process, and one we handle carefully.

Removal, Done Right

Old carpet, tile, or flooring gets carefully removed and hauled away as part of most installations, and we take care to protect the subfloor and surrounding areas from damage during that process. Nothing gets left behind for you to deal with — that's part of the job, not an upcharge surprise.

Where It Actually Goes

Removed materials are disposed of responsibly, following standard waste-handling practices — we're not in the business of leaving a pile of old carpet in your driveway for the county to figure out. It's a small, unglamorous part of the project, but it's exactly the kind of detail that separates a clean, professional job from one that leaves you cleaning up after the crew has already left.
