Installation Day: What Actually Happens

Installation day can feel like a big unknown if you've never been through it before, so let's walk through what actually happens, start to finish.

Arrival and Setup

Our crew arrives with the materials confirmed ahead of time, walks the space with you briefly to confirm the plan, and lays down protective coverings for any furniture or flooring that isn't part of the project. From there, the real work — removal of the old surface if needed, prep, and installation — gets underway.

Communication Along the Way

If anything unexpected turns up once the old flooring is out — a subfloor issue, for example — we'll stop and talk it through with you rather than making a decision on your behalf. At the end, the crew does a walk-through with you, cleans up thoroughly, and answers any care questions on the spot. We treat your home the way we'd want a crew to treat ours: with respect, communication, and genuine aloha for the space you live in.
