How We Train Our Installation Crew

A great flooring product installed poorly can still fail. That's exactly why we've always put as much care into training our crew as we do into choosing the products we carry.

Learning by Doing, Under Someone Who Knows

Installation skill isn't something you can learn from a manual alone — it comes from time spent under experienced hands, working through the real quirks of real homes: out-of-square rooms, humidity-sensitive materials, transitions that never quite match the diagram. Newer members of our crew train alongside people who've been doing this for years, on real jobs, not just practice runs.

Why It's Worth the Investment

Training takes time and it isn't free for us either, but it's the difference between a floor that looks good on install day and one that still looks good five years later. It's also part of why the same trained, experienced crew that helps you choose your flooring in the showroom is generally the one who installs it — continuity matters, and it's something we protect deliberately, not by accident.
