A Different Climate Changes the Calculus

With less humidity and cooler temperatures than coastal areas, Upcountry homes have more flexibility with materials like solid hardwood that can be more sensitive to moisture elsewhere on the island. That said, comfort and warmth underfoot still matter in a region where cooler mornings and evenings are the norm.

What We Recommend Most

We see a good mix of hardwood, carpet, and LVP throughout Upcountry homes, chosen based on the specific room and household rather than climate alone. Ranch-style properties and larger lots also mean more square footage to plan for, which is exactly the kind of project our crew is set up to handle efficiently from measuring through installation.
