Over 50 years ago, Kahului Carpet & Drapery got its start with a simple idea: do flooring and window treatments right, and take care of the people who show up to do the work.

Built From the Ground Up on Maui

Since 1973, we've operated out of the Old Kahului Shopping Center, growing alongside the island itself — from a smaller local operation into a business that's handled residential, commercial, and government flooring projects across Maui and the Hawaiian Islands. Through it all, the showroom has stayed in the same spot.

What's Stayed the Same

Fifty-plus years is a long time, and a lot has changed — materials, technology, the island itself. What hasn't changed is our approach: our own trained, experienced crews handling every install, and a commitment to being a business that's still here to stand behind the work years down the road. That's the throughline connecting the company today to where it started in 1973.
