Click-Lock or Glue-Down LVP? How We Choose on Maui Slabs

Most Maui homes get a floating click-lock LVP over a tested slab. Some kitchens, commercial corridors, and rooms with heavy rolling loads do better fully adhered.
When floating is the right call
Residential living areas with a reasonably flat slab, a vapor-aware underlayment, and room to expand at the walls. Faster, cleaner, and easy to service a damaged plank.
When we glue
Wide-open commercial floors, some wet-adjacent spaces, and jobs where the association wants a fully bonded assembly. Glue-down is not "better" in the abstract - it is different labor and a different repair story.
